for 14 years
The Mozart family lived on the first floor of the so-called “Dance Master’s House” at Makartplatz from 1773, where large crowds of guests came to be entertained by Wolfgang Amadeus and his unique musical talent. After several changes of ownership and extensive destruction during the Second World War, the “Dance Master’s House” was reconstructed from original plans from 1989 onwards and has been open to visitors since 1996.
